Banner Simulation System, which spans seven states, is one of the country's largest simulation-education programs.
Our network offers doctors, nurses and emergency-service providers the opportunity to work with computerized mannequins to learn how to insert tubes, draw blood and even deliver babies. So far, thousands of Banner Health staff and community health providers have improved their skills at our centers.
Our network also offers virtual-reality tools that allow physicians to test and practice their surgical skills.
Banner Health, which has been providing simulation-education training through three different sites, plans to create one of the nation’s largest simulation-education training facilities, which will be housed in downtown Mesa. Banner Health also plans to build a sister simulated-education facility at McKee Medical Center in Colorado. Combined, these center will offer the next generation of health care training.
