Banner has a process for implementing evidence-based clinical practices called “Achieving a Shared Baseline”. The process has three steps:

Simulation Education
Banner Health is a national leader in simulation education as way to train our health care professionals.
A keystone of our simulation education program is the Banner Simulation Education Medical Center, a virtual-reality hospital that is the largest of its type in the U.S.
Robotics in the Operating Room
Medical teams at several Banner Health hospitals now use robotics to make minimally invasive surgeries simpler and more routine. For patients, the new technology can reduce post-operative pain and chance of infection and may mean a faster recovery and return to normal life.
